While my government name is Amanda Kay, my oldest niece gave me the nickname “Mauga” a little over 20 years ago and the name has stuck.
A little about me…
I am a Bible-believing Christian who loves Jesus and the journey He has me on.
I am single with no kids.
I have the best dog in the world, Bruno.
I have about 20 nieces and nephews (ok some are cousins and friends, technically).
A little over a year ago, I became a great-aunt to the cutest little girl that has ever been born.
I love crafting… painting, air-dry clay, crocheting, mix-to-mold ceramics, etc.
I work from home full-time for a specialized online custom print business. I use some of my spare time for contract graphic design work and a little bit of photography. I am self-taught in all of it and still have a lot of learning to do, but I enjoy it.
As an aspiring writer, I used to blog regularly. It’s actually what got me to start this website. Currently, though, I’m trying to focus on writing the book I started (way too long ago). Because of that, creating new blogs hasn’t been a priority. The blogs are still available for view in the blog archives, should you be interested.
